I’m a filmmaker, entrepreneur, and adventurer whose life has taken me from the streets of Detroit to Hollywood soundstages, London edit suites, the art-filled coastlines of the South of France and Italy, and even the front lines of Mosul, Iraq, where I narrowly escaped death while delivering medical aid in the midst of a battle between ISIS and Coalition forces. My career has spanned producing and directing films with stars like Christopher Lee, Sir Richard Attenborough and legendary independent producer John Daly(Platoon, Terminator) I spent many years creating some of the UK’s most-watched music videos, and capturing behind-the-scenes with Tom Cruise, Will Smith, and Anthony Hopkins on many major Hollywood productions. I consider myself a passionate philanthropist often helping to raise significant money or provide funding for charity. A student of esoteric philosophy and quantum mechanics, and lover of art and culture, I bring the same curiosity and fearlessness to filmmaking that I do to life itself.(02 - 04)
Work
My work blends storytelling and strategy, spanning feature films, television, and commercials produced for audiences around the world. I’ve directed and produced projects with award-winning talent, overseen complex international productions, and built financing structures that bring ambitious creative visions to life. Outside of the industry, my passions pull me toward photography, painting, architecture, and design, as well as the study of esoteric philosophy and quantum mechanics—fields that continually inspire the way I see and shape stories. From exploring galleries in Paris to documenting remote landscapes, I treat my creative pursuits as an extension of my filmmaking: a constant search for beauty, meaning, and connection.01

Marcus Warren is a filmmaker, producer, and entrepreneur whose career spans Hollywood, London, the South of France, and international locations around the globe. Starting as a staff producer on the groundbreaking U.S. television series In Living Color, he went on to direct and produce behind-the-scenes documentaries for major studio productions with Tom Cruise, Will Smith, and Anthony Hopkins, as well as some of the UK’s most-watched music videos and commercials. Under the mentorship of Sir Richard Attenborough, Marcus wrote, produced, and directed his debut feature The Heavy for LIONSGATE, later producing Zero Tolerance and directing The Smoking Gun (2025), while currently producing Paintbox, written by Arthur Baker directed by Lorna Tucker, Only The Guilty, directed by Will Gilbey, all with my producing partner Christian Moore. My work has taken him to conflict zones such as Mosul, Iraq, where he narrowly survived a battle between ISIS and Coalition forces while delivering medical aid, an experience that deepened his philanthropic commitment and global outlook. A passionate supporter of charities, and a student of esoteric philosophy and quantum mechanics, Marcus brings the same adventurous spirit to his filmmaking, art, and travel as he does to life itself.About
